Shop Clerk – Workshop Operations

About the role

The Shop Clerk supports daily workshop operations by providing friendly service, managing inventory, and keeping the shop clean and safe. This role is essential for ensuring product availability and smooth workflow in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers and vendors professionally.
• Process orders and transactions accurately following company procedures.
• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise and arrange material storage.
• Monitor inventory levels, report low‑stock or damaged items, and perform stock counts.
• Receive, unpack, inspect and organize incoming deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe shop environment.
• Follow company policies, safety requirements and loss‑prevention guidelines.
• Support general workshop duties as assigned by the supervisor.
