Site Logistics Lead

About the role

The Site Logistics Lead is responsible for managing all import and export activities related to FieldCore/DP tooling, ensuring door‑to‑door delivery and accurate inventory control. The role coordinates purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting and customer service while acting as the primary link between tooling coordinators and international shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Handle technical details of international transportation, including customs regulations and required documentation.
• Resolve logistics problems, monitor import/export compliance, and work with local carriers to meet performance KPIs.
• Maintain the Maximo tooling system, oversee inventory control, calibrations, billing and work‑order closure.
• Collaborate with tooling coordinators, sourcing, and regional tooling managers to improve procedures and determine tooling needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of sourcing‑related experience.
• 5 + years of logistics planning and execution experience, with knowledge of national and international import/export legislation.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects, travel as needed, and work holidays, weekends and overtime.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Maximo system.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for reporting.
