Spare Parts Administrator

About the role

SIG is looking for a Spare Parts Administrator (also referred to as Service and Spare Parts Planner) to support consignment warehouses and the parts business. The role covers forecasting, ordering, stock control and reporting on spare parts used for preventive maintenance (PM) activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement parts MRQ forecasts for consignment warehouses and provide input on parts consumption to improve MRQs while keeping pricing and gross margins.
• Build spare parts on-hand and slow-moving visibility to boost sales and profitability.
• Provide KPI inputs on spare parts delivery and analyze consumption statistics to support condition-based maintenance strategies.
• Control the ordering process and manage the swim-lane flow, including identifying slow-moving parts and marking them for PM violation sheets.
• Ensure parts are shipped correctly between sites and that customers receive the right parts on time.
• Maintain accurate pricing, report on PM requests, spare parts sales and slow-moving activity, and give training and guidance to FSE and customer spare parts admins.
• Collaborate with the regional and global Spare Parts and Technical Administration teams and conduct customer courtesy visits when requested.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Management or Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on order management and/or logistics or freight forwarding.
• Proficiency in English and French is mandatory; Arabic is desired.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office is mandatory; SAP is required.
• Experience with letters of credit and ERP platforms is desired.
