Steward – Hotel Utility Cleaner

About the role

As a Steward at Le Méridien Oran, you will support essential hotel operations by keeping the kitchen, food‑and‑beverage areas, and laundry clean and functional. You will work across multiple departments, ensuring guests enjoy spotless dining ware and fresh linens while maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and laundry areas according to hotel standards.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware, utensils, and linens between departments.
• Follow safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform overhead and low‑reach tasks.
• Assist with any additional duties requested by supervisors.

• Ability to perform physical tasks and follow safety procedures.
• Professional appearance, reliable attendance, and teamwork orientation.
