Supply Chain Director – Hospital (Algiers)

About the role

The Supply Chain Director will lead all procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics and vendor‑management activities for HAQA Hospital. Joining during the pre‑opening phase, you will build the entire supply‑chain function from scratch and ensure seamless operations once the 300‑bed facility opens.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the supply‑chain strategy, including supplier selection, contracts, policies and processes.
• Configure and roll out the SAP Materials Management (MM) module for the hospital.
• Secure initial equipment, consumables and specialized medical devices required for regulatory inspection and opening‑day operations.
• Integrate supply‑chain workflows into the ORAT commissioning program and ensure compliance with Algerian import regulations.
• Drive cost‑efficiency, supply continuity and quality compliance across all clinical and non‑clinical departments post‑opening.
• Coordinate with the CFO on financing, duty management and asset capitalization.
• Maintain documentation required for JCI accreditation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in supply‑chain management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Advanced degree (Master 1, Master 2, Ingéniorat or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to build and lead a new supply‑chain function.
• Strong knowledge of Algerian medical‑device and pharmaceutical import regulations.

Required skills

• SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) implementation and administration.
