Therapy Specialist – North West Africa

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Therapy Specialist to lead clinical and technical support for its Structural Heart (SH) portfolio across North West Africa, primarily Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The role combines sales development, distributor management and hands‑on training to grow market share and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Increase Abbott SH market share in the target territories through direct engagement with end‑users and key opinion leaders.
• Conduct regular customer visits, provide clinical education, and gather competitive intelligence.
• Manage distributor activities, deliver product training, and ensure alignment with Abbott’s sales strategy.
• Lead plan submissions, marketing and educational initiatives, and oversee territory‑wide workshops.
• Identify new accounts, expand existing ones, and handle customer complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of medical clinical support or sales experience, preferably with medical devices.
• Background in medical training (RN, EMT, perfusion, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Experience in cardiology and with TMTI technology is essential.
