Account Manager, Regional Consumer Brands – Perfumery & Beauty

About the role

As an Account Manager for Regional Consumer Brands in the Perfumery & Beauty sector, you will be responsible for growing sales and profitability for dsm‑firmenich in Algeria. You will act as the main partner for clients, securing briefs, winning projects and delivering profitable fragrance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, positioning dsm‑firmenich as their preferred partner.
• Define account objectives, create commercial strategies and implement them through detailed account plans.
• Identify business opportunities, analyse decision factors and competitive landscape, and develop action plans.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and payment conditions to maximise business vitality.
• Lead and coordinate fragrance projects with internal teams and clients, including submissions and presentations.
• Manage product life‑cycle activities such as MDM, demand planning, customer care and supply‑chain coordination to ensure high service levels.
• Monitor financial performance of the account, controlling expenses, market‑research budgets and overdue payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in flavor, fragrance or ingredient sales.
• Strong knowledge of the perfume and beauty market and a passion for fragrance.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and strategic planning abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French; additional languages are a plus.
