Area Sales Supervisor

About the role

BAT is seeking an Area Sales Supervisor to grow market share in Algeria. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead a trade marketing and distribution team, ensuring product availability, visibility, and sales performance across your assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Implement an Area Trade Marketing & Distribution plan aligned with regional objectives.
• Achieve targets for availability, visibility, volume, market share, quality, and pricing.
• Produce competitor activity reports for trade marketing.
• Forecast daily stock needs and manage supply to distributor warehouses.
• Work with distributors to maximise volume, visibility and in‑store presence within budget.
• Track and evaluate the Trade Marketing & Distribution team’s performance.
• Execute action plans after distribution gap analysis.
• Implement and assess cycle plan objectives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar sales supervisory role with team management.
• At least 2 years in the FMCG industry.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commercial Sciences or equivalent.
• Fluent in French and Arabic; intermediate English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in trade systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong numerical analysis capability.
