About the role

The University of El Oued is looking for a full‑time Research Assistant to join its scientific teams. You will work on‑site in El Oued, Algeria, supporting ongoing research projects that address local and global challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and execution of research projects, including laboratory or field work.
• Collect, process, and analyse data using appropriate statistical or data‑processing tools.
• Draft reports, scientific publications, and presentation materials.
• Ensure compliance with experimental protocols and safety standards.
• Support the organization of meetings, seminars, and workshops.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a discipline related to the research area.
• Experience with research methodology, experimental design, and equipment handling.
• Ability to interpret results and produce reliable summaries.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in scientific English.
• Proficiency with common IT tools.
