Community Builder

About the role

Moneco, a multi‑currency financial platform for French‑speaking Africans, is looking for a Community Builder to shape and grow its user community from the ground up. Reporting directly to the co‑founders and Head of Growth, you will be the voice of the brand across social channels, messaging groups, and offline events.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond daily to comments and reviews on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, App Store, Google Play and Trustpilot.
• Engage in third‑party conversations about fintech in Africa, turning negative moments into brand opportunities.
• Build and manage community infrastructure such as WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, and in‑person events.
• Design and launch growth loops, referral programs, ambassador initiatives and viral campaigns tailored to African markets.
• Own the social media content calendar, spot trends and create timely content.
• Track engagement, sentiment and growth metrics, delivering weekly performance reports.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of experience in community management, social media or brand engagement, preferably in a consumer app, fintech or related field.
• Strong written communication with a personable, fast‑paced style.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate creators across multiple African markets.
