Entry-Level Geosolutions Geophysicist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated entry‑level Geosolutions Geophysicist to join our Algiers team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior geophysicists, gaining practical experience in seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation while contributing to high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in processing seismic data using industry‑standard software and workflows.
• Support senior geophysicists in testing and validating processing parameters.
• Ensure processed data is delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Participate in quality‑control checks and velocity picking.
• Learn to interpret seismic test results and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with the project team and help with daily project management tasks.
• Archive and document project data according to company standards.
• Stay updated on developments in seismic data processing and geophysical techniques.

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of seismic data processing, interpretation, and inversion.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Motivation to learn and grow in a fast‑paced technical environment.
