Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the planning, coordination and execution of engineering and construction activities at our project site in Adrar, Algeria. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager/Project Manager, the role ensures that all works meet specifications, quality standards, budget and schedule while complying with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day‑to‑day project activities on site.
• Review project drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Monitor progress, report delays or deviations, and update work schedules.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare detailed look‑ahead plans and manage manpower, equipment and material resources.
• Review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements and material approvals.
• Resolve engineering and technical issues during execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and HSE regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and participate in safety meetings, inspections and incident investigations.
• Coordinate inspections, testing activities and close non‑conformance reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Support the preparation of project completion and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of experience in construction or project engineering.
• Experience in infrastructure, building construction, industrial facilities or oil & gas projects.
