Software Engineer (Web SDK) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to own and evolve our Web SDK and the backend services that power it. The role is fully remote within Algeria and focuses on delivering fast, beautiful, interactive Stories experiences for major sports and media brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and ship new features for the Web SDK, using AI‑assisted development where appropriate.
• Improve performance, reliability and developer ergonomics of the SDK and its supporting services.
• Debug complex issues across the SDK, backend and browsers by analysing logs, metrics and hypotheses.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to understand real customer use‑cases and translate them into simple, pragmatic solutions.
• Enhance documentation, code examples and integration guides, leveraging AI to draft and then refine content.
• Identify friction points for integrators and continuously improve the developer experience.

Required profile

• Proactive mindset – you spot opportunities and move ideas forward without waiting for direction.
• Comfortable working with AI tools for code scaffolding, refactoring and documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, focusing on outcomes and constraints rather than isolated tickets.
• Ability to own work end‑to‑end and deliver high‑quality code in a collaborative environment.
