Technical Sales Advisor (Algeria)

About the role

Join Trouw Nutrition as a Technical Sales Advisor for the Algerian market. You will combine deep technical knowledge of animal nutrition with a commercial mindset to drive growth across poultry, dairy, and aquaculture sectors. The position is home‑based with regular travel throughout Algeria, offering autonomy and the chance to make a tangible impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support sales of the full portfolio of feed additives and services.
• Act as a trusted technical and commercial partner for distributors, integrators, mills, and farmers.
• Promote and grow the aquaculture segment using the Skretting product range.
• Organise and deliver seminars, trainings, and farm visits.
• Gather market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity, and trends.
• Identify new business opportunities while supporting existing customers.
• Contribute to annual budgets, sales plans, and forecasts.
• Manage orders end‑to‑end, including credit control.
• Coordinate technical, marketing, administrative, and sales support activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in animal health or nutrition, preferably in a commercial role.
• Existing network in the Algerian poultry market is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle (car allowance provided).
