Woodworking Machine Operator

About the role

Wood Board is hiring a full-time, on-site Woodworking Machine Operator in Beni Mered. The operator sets up, runs and monitors woodworking machines such as saws, planers, sanders and CNC equipment to produce wood panels and components to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders, select materials and adjust machine settings for accurate cuts, finishes and dimensions.
• Inspect equipment, perform basic maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Report production or safety issues and follow quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and meet production targets while respecting safety standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to set up, operate and monitor woodworking machinery.
• Previous experience in woodworking, carpentry or manufacturing is preferred, especially in a machine operator role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in woodworking or industrial production is an advantage.

Required skills

• Attention to detail, manual dexterity and the ability to stand for long periods and lift materials.
