Chef Boulanger – Hôtellerie & Restauration

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chef Boulanger to join our dynamic team at a prestigious hotel in Aïn Benian, Algiers. The role involves leading the bakery department, ensuring high‑quality baked goods, and supporting the overall culinary offering.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise the production of breads, pastries and other bakery items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Manage raw‑material supplies, verify their quality and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Organise and lead the production team to ensure efficient and harmonious workflow.
• Enforce strict hygiene and food‑safety regulations in the bakery workshop.
• Innovate by proposing new recipes and adapting products to customer expectations.

Required profile

• Professional certification or training in bakery.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in a similar position, preferably in hotel or restaurant environments.
• Strong knowledge of both traditional and modern baking techniques.
• Ability to manage a team and work autonomously.
• Rigorous, organised and creative mindset with a solid understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
