Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Yassir, a super app operating in 45 cities across Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia and expanding into France, Canada and Sub-Saharan Africa, is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will attract and hire top talent, working closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their needs, build recruitment strategies and deliver a seamless hiring experience. The role suits a proactive, hands-on recruiter with strong sourcing skills and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from understanding hiring needs to sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers and onboarding.
• Sourcing qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, databases and proactive strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Ensure clear communication and timely feedback for every candidate.
• Lead recruitment for technical roles, including Engineering, Product, Data and other specialized positions.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines and track metrics such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate and source effectiveness.
• Contribute to recruitment marketing and employer branding, and monitor talent market trends and salary benchmarks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a plus.

• Strong sourcing techniques and recruitment tools, especially LinkedIn and applicant tracking systems.
• Stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies at once and use recruitment data to drive decisions.
