Site Scheduler

About the role

The Site Scheduler provides essential support to the Project Manager and Site Manager to ensure that project schedules meet both GEV and customer objectives. This temporary position focuses on coordinating planning activities, monitoring progress, and alerting stakeholders to any potential delays.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project and Site Managers in defining, sharing, and committing to schedule objectives across all stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed construction and commissioning schedules using Primavera (versions 3 and 6) and Microsoft Project.
• Apply scheduling methods such as Critical Path Method (CPM), man‑loading, progress curves, and commodity curves to drive critical items.
• Monitor, analyze, and consolidate project progress information, providing regular updates to headquarters scheduling teams.
• Identify schedule risks, propose corrective action plans, and coordinate interfaces between functional teams to keep the project on track.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera 3 and Primavera 6.
• Experience using Microsoft Project (MSP).
• Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) and related scheduling techniques.
• Ability to work with man‑loading, progress curves, and commodity curves for construction projects.
