About the role
The British University Foundation seeks a dedicated Economics and Accounting Teacher for its Foundation Year Programme in Algiers. You will guide first‑year university students, helping them build the core knowledge and skills needed for successful higher‑education studies.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials in Economics and Accounting to foundation‑year students.
- Design lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools aligned with the programme curriculum.
- Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and support academic progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to continuously improve the programme.
Required profile
- Degree (Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate) in Economics, Accounting, or a closely related field.
- 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in higher education or foundation programmes.
- Passion for student development and academic excellence.
- Strong communication and classroom‑management abilities.
