Math Teacher CEM & LYCEE

About the role

Little Kingdom School is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to deliver the Algerian curriculum to middle (CEM) and high school (LYCEE) students. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Algiers and focuses on creating engaging, differentiated lessons that support student success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver mathematics lessons aligned with Algerian (and optionally British) curricula.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback and support students needing extra guidance.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum alignment and participate in school meetings and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student performance.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching mathematics at CEM and LYCEE levels.
• Strong foundation in lesson planning and classroom management.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
• Ability to work in a bilingual or international school setting is an advantage.
