Year 3 English Teacher - Immediate Start

About the role

Little Kingdom School (Mamlakat Ennour), a primary and secondary school in Sebbala offering Algerian and British curricula, is hiring a Year 3 English teacher for a full-time, on-site position in Algiers with an immediate start. The teacher delivers curriculum-aligned English lessons to primary learners, covering reading, writing, speaking and listening, and contributes to school life and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons and assess student work, giving clear feedback
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
• Manage the classroom and support individual learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with families as needed
• Take part in school activities, meetings and professional development
• Promote an inclusive, positive classroom culture

Required profile

• Experience delivering lessons to primary-age students and following a structured curriculum
• Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Education, English or a related field; a recognized teaching certification is an advantage
• Experience with British and/or Algerian curricula and age-appropriate classroom management
• Ability to create inclusive, engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs
