Head of Sales - Marine & Protective Coatings

About the role

Jotun Algeria is looking for a Head of Sales to manage and develop its Marine and Protective business segments in the country. Based in Algiers and reporting directly to the General Manager, the role is part of the Management Team and drives customer-focused growth, profitability and long-term success.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the Local Management Team, helping to discuss, influence and decide on company strategy.
• Lead, develop and support staff, setting ambitions for personal, professional and career development in line with the company's spirit.
• Organize, delegate and distribute responsibilities and authority using Jotun performance tools to run focused, efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Monitor the business operations of the assigned segments through regular contact with reporting managers and management teams.
• Build and lead the Sales organization by hiring, coaching and retaining employees, and running skills and competence development programs.
• Maintain a strong payment collection mechanism and manage other functions such as marketing, technical support service and customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in sales management.
• Flexibility to travel within the country as required.
• Fluency in English and French is a must.
