Intern - Transaction Services

About the role

Interpath Advisory is looking for a dedicated Intern to join its Transaction Services team in Algiers. As an analyst, you will support the team in delivering high-quality services to clients such as Private Equity firms and corporates, working alongside Managing Directors, Directors and Senior Associates on financial due diligence and advisory projects. The internship covers both buy-side and sell-side tasks across the deal process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Financial Due Diligence (FDD) reports and related documentation.
• Help collect, organise and validate financial data (financial statements, management accounts, trial balances) used in FDD engagements.
• Assist with basic financial analyses under supervision, including revenue trends, cost evolution and simple working capital movements.
• Help prepare schedules, charts and supporting documentation for FDD reports and client deliverables.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, business, finance, economics or a related field.
• Internship experience in audit, transaction services, M&A or private equity is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Team player with a proactive approach, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a dynamic setting.
• Verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
