Maintenance Engineer – Tizi Ouazou

About the role

Join Jotun's dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer responsible for planning, organizing and following up maintenance activities for assets and property. The position is based in Freha and reports directly to the Maintenance and Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure HSEQ compliance by adhering to internal and external health, safety, environment and quality standards.
• Maintain and improve production capacity and quality through proactive maintenance.
• Plan, coordinate and control maintenance execution, managing work orders and liaising with area owners.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team through coaching and guidance.
• Monitor contractor and supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and keep maintenance systems and data up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proactive, methodical and able to make sound judgments on complex issues.
