About the role

We are looking for an experienced Master Chef to lead our culinary team in Chennai. The role involves creating high‑quality menus, overseeing food preparation, and managing supplier relationships to ensure exceptional dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Lead a team of chefs in meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Source and procure high‑quality ingredients while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu ideas and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs to ensure profitability.

Required profile

• 7–20 years of experience as a Master Chef or in a comparable senior culinary role.
• Strong knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and sourcing & procurement.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local ingredients and current culinary trends.
• Food safety and handling certification (desired).
