National Consultant – Training of Trainers in Training Engineering

About the role

UNICEF Algeria is seeking a National Consultant to lead a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme focused on training engineering for Ministry of National Education staff. The assignment is on‑site in Algiers with travel as required and lasts for a fixed term of three months.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a preparatory phase, including needs analysis and curriculum design, in coordination with the Education Specialist and MEN focal points.
• Deliver interactive ToT sessions, adapting technical content to the institutional context of the Ministry.
• Monitor and evaluate training delivery, providing real‑time steering and feedback.
• Produce training materials, practical tools, evaluation instruments, and a comprehensive capitalisation report.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in training engineering, capacity development, or adult learning.
• Proven track record designing and facilitating training programmes for public institutions, preferably in the education sector.
• Fluency in Arabic and French; English knowledge is an asset.
• Strong understanding of the full training engineering cycle.
