Operations Liaison Co-ordinator (OLC) – Offshore/Onshore Oil Field

About the role

The Operations Liaison Co-ordinator (OLC) provides operational logistical support for offshore rigs or onshore oil fields, ensuring the safety and coordination of expatriate personnel. Working closely with onshore OLCs and other locations, the role manages documentation, movement, and emergency response for high‑threat environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute emergency contingency plans, safety inductions and security briefings for all expats.
• Coordinate expat movements, including scheduled flight drop‑offs, pick‑ups and journey management.
• Maintain and update incident‑evacuation plans and liaise with military or police assets as required.
• Track daily expatriate presence and provide point‑of‑base reports.
• Conduct QA/QC of operational safety infrastructure and ensure compliance with asset protection standards.
• Participate in field incident management and produce operational safety briefings, induction training and muster drill documentation.
• Collaborate with HSE experts on vehicle serviceability, equipment standards and overall safety procedures.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in high‑threat, high‑hazard environments, preferably in oil & gas.
• Background in asset protection, risk assessment and operational liaison.
• Proven experience supervising vendors or suppliers in remote locations.
• Experience auditing asset protection documentation and communicating with local support teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high EQ and ability to work with national personnel.
