Primary Teacher – English, Maths & Science (Pearson iPrimary)

About the role

Little Kingdom School is seeking full‑time primary teachers to deliver English, Maths and Science using the Pearson iPrimary programme. The position is based on‑site in Algiers and combines British and Algerian curriculum standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Pearson iPrimary lessons for English, Maths and Science.
• Align teaching to both British and Algerian curriculum requirements.
• Assess learner progress, keep accurate records and provide regular feedback.
• Prepare reports that support academic development.
• Manage the classroom and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional‑development activities and school events.

Required profile

• Strong English teaching skills with experience at primary level.
• Excellent communication abilities for instruction, teamwork and parent engagement.
• Translation skills to support understanding between English and local languages.
• Customer‑service mindset focused on responsiveness and empathy.
• Ability to mentor learners, support colleagues and contribute to professional‑development sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; specialisation in English, Maths, Science or primary education is a plus.
• Experience with Pearson iPrimary or similar international curricula preferred.
• Proven classroom‑management techniques and inclusive, learner‑centred practices.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is advantageous.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and supporting diverse, multicultural learners.
