Skikda Vessel Accounts & Administration

About the role

This position is responsible for managing daily financial transactions for vessel operations in Skikda, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role supports budgeting, cost analysis, and the full accounts payable/receivable cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze direct and indirect costs and allocate them appropriately.
• Conduct budget‑to‑actual variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoicing activities.
• Support annual budget preparation and forecasting.
• Track budget performance and spending levels.
• Prepare financial and operational reports.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA preferred or required).
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, data analysis, reporting).
• Knowledge of Workday Financials and related accounting processes.
