Skikda Vessel Accounts & Administration

About the role

Join Maersk’s finance team in Skikda as a Vessel Accounts & Administration specialist. You will ensure accurate daily financial transactions, support budgeting processes, and manage the full spectrum of accounts payable and receivable for vessel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions with precision.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze direct and indirect costs and allocate them appropriately.
• Conduct budget‑to‑actual variance analysis.
• Manage AP, AR, billing and invoicing activities.
• Support annual budget preparation and forecasting.
• Track budget performance and spending levels.
• Prepare financial and operational reports.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred or required).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, data analysis, reporting).
• Workday Financials knowledge.
• Cost accounting and budget accounting expertise.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and invoicing.
