About the role
The Restaurant & Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, bar/lounge and, when applicable, room service. The role ensures high standards of service, sanitation, and guest satisfaction while driving financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all front‑of‑house staff, stepping in to perform duties when needed.
- Maintain service and sanitation standards across restaurant, bar and room‑service areas.
- Plan staffing levels to meet guest service needs and financial objectives.
- Lead the food‑and‑beverage team, fostering trust, respect and cooperation.
- Coach, mentor and develop employees to improve skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all food‑handling, sanitation, and local liquor laws.
- Monitor and enforce alcohol service regulations.
- Drive exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 2 years of experience.
