About the role
The Venue Manager will oversee all food‑and‑beverage operations at Le Méridien Oran Hotel & Convention Centre, including restaurants, bars and room service. Reporting to senior hotel management, the role ensures high standards of service, sanitation and financial performance while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant, bar and room‑service activities, stepping in on the floor during peak periods.
- Assist with menu planning, inventory control and cost‑management to meet budget targets.
- Maintain rigorous sanitation and food‑handling standards in all service areas.
- Review staffing levels, schedule staff and provide training to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal liquor laws and all hotel policies.
- Lead, coach and develop the food‑and‑beverage team, fostering a culture of integrity and teamwork.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements to enhance the overall experience.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration, etc., with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to manage day‑to‑day operations in a hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of sanitation, safety and liquor‑service regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and motivate staff.
