Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to manage and supervise telecom infrastructure projects in Algiers. The role combines site access coordination, logistics, construction oversight, quality assurance and on‑site client acceptance, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site access and confirm readiness of the installation environment before construction starts.
• Organise on‑site logistics, inspect deliveries and verify completeness and timeliness of goods.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved plans, schedules and project requirements.
• Monitor and inspect the quality of civil works, towers, equipment rooms and supporting infrastructure.
• Arrange and lead on‑site acceptance activities with clients and construction units, securing proper documentation and sign‑off.
• Review, organise and submit completion and acceptance documents to the project team.
• Improve construction processes, train teams on standardized site practices and support the Project Manager with on‑site affairs.
• Coordinate across trades, engineers and partner resources to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Provide technical support during installation and assist with on‑site debugging.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of telecommunications industry principles and integrated delivery models.
• Ability to work at height and manage site Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
• Proven experience supervising construction activities and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn, with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Results‑oriented with a track record of driving progress and motivating teams; prior team or project management experience is highly desirable.
