Site Engineer – Telecommunications

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to lead the on‑site execution of telecommunications projects in Algiers. The role involves coordinating site access, managing logistics, supervising construction activities and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site access and confirm readiness of the installation environment before construction starts.
• Organise on‑site logistics, receive deliveries and verify completeness and timeliness.
• Supervise construction progress, ensuring compliance with approved plans, schedules and project requirements.
• Monitor quality of civil works, towers, equipment rooms and installation of main equipment.
• Arrange on‑site acceptance with the client, prepare documentation and obtain sign‑off.
• Review and hand over completion documents to the project team.
• Identify process improvements and train construction teams on standardized site practices.
• Coordinate with engineers, trades and partners to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Provide technical support and assist with on‑site debugging during installation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (M2) or engineering degree (Bac +5) in a relevant field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in telecommunications site construction or similar.
• Ability to work at height and manage site EHS requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and results‑oriented attitude.
