Call Center Operator - Study Abroad Support

About the role

Advanced Pathways Algeria, an educational consulting firm that supports Algerian students, professionals and business owners in studying abroad and learning languages, is hiring a full-time, on-site Call Center Operator in Algiers. The operator handles inbound and outbound calls, answers questions about study abroad and language programmes and works closely with the advisory team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls and respond to inquiries about study abroad and language programmes
• Provide accurate information on services, procedures and documentation requirements
• Record and update caller information in internal systems
• Schedule appointments with advisors and follow up with prospective clients to ensure ongoing support
• Collaborate with the advisory team and follow call center guidelines while keeping a professional and supportive tone

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role; a background in education services is an advantage
• Fluency in Arabic and French; proficiency in English is highly beneficial
• Ability to learn and explain educational and study abroad procedures clearly

• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Clear and empathetic communication with diverse clients
• Experience or familiarity with contact centers and call management tools
• Organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting interactions
