Fiber Network Planner – Damascus Based

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fiber Network Planner to join our team in Damascus. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality OSP (Outside Plant) designs for civil and fiber infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and review site survey reports, GIS records, and existing infrastructure data.
• Develop implementation‑ready civil and fiber network designs, including routes, ducts, manholes, and handholes.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, construction plans, and supporting documentation using QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Generate and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to capture all materials, labor, and equipment.
• Coordinate with survey, implementation, operations teams, contractors, and vendors to confirm design feasibility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, approvals, and as‑built revisions.
• Identify and mitigate design risks such as route conflicts, constructability issues, or compliance gaps.
• Ensure timely delivery of all design artefacts within agreed quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of telecom experience, with at least 5 years in OSP design and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of civil and fiber infrastructure design methodologies, standards, and industry best practices.
