HR Business Partner – Operations & Compliance

About the role

Swissport Algeria is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead HR Operations and Compliance. The role ensures accurate employee administration, payroll coordination, HR system integrity, and adherence to Algerian labour legislation while supporting the overall employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver HR operational activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract management.
• Maintain accurate employee records, organisational structures, and HR documentation.
• Ensure integrity of HR master data, produce dashboards, KPIs, and support digital HR solutions.
• Supervise payroll preparation, validate personnel movements, and monitor payroll compliance.
• Manage employment contracts, probation periods, renewals, terminations, and coordinate labour inspections.
• Ensure compliance with local labour law, Swissport policies, and support internal/external audits.
• Oversee relationships with CNAS and other social authorities, handling statutory declarations and occupational accident administration.
• Lead, coach, and develop the HR Operations team, set priorities, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations, payroll administration, and labour compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Algerian labour legislation and social security requirements.
• Ability to lead and develop a small HR team.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills to produce reports and metrics.
