Human Resources Director – Manufacturing (English/French)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual English‑French HR Director to lead all human‑resources activities within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will shape HR strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a safe, productive workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with labour laws and safety regulations.
• Lead recruitment for factory labour positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Administer employee benefits programmes specific to the manufacturing sector and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Oversee performance‑management systems for factory workers, setting goals, conducting evaluations, and driving improvement plans.
• Handle employee‑relations matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on HR issues, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing setting, managing factory labour.
• Fluency in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of recruitment, safety compliance, employee relations and performance management within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with applicable labour laws, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is advantageous.
