IELTS Instructor

About the role

CDM, an international training and education centre focused on practical, job-ready skills, is hiring a full-time, on-site IELTS Instructor in Annaba. The instructor prepares learners for all four parts of the IELTS exam (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) and helps them improve their overall English proficiency, exam strategies and time management.

Key responsibilities

• Create lesson plans and teaching materials covering Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking
• Deliver engaging lessons and conduct practice tests
• Provide detailed feedback and track learner progress
• Support learners in improving exam strategies and time management
• Collaborate with staff to refine curricula and maintain accurate records
• Contribute to a professional, learner-focused classroom environment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education or a related field; TEFL/TESOL or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience teaching exam preparation courses or working with adult and young adult learners; prior IELTS teaching experience is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Annaba and collaborate with colleagues

Required skills

• Strong English teaching and TEFL skills
• Solid lesson planning and material design skills
• Expertise in IELTS preparation, including exam format, scoring criteria and test strategies
• Excellent spoken and written English and strong classroom management
• Ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners and use digital teaching tools
