About the role
NTU International is seeking three Junior Non‑Key Experts to support the PRIDA II digital connectivity study for agriculture and education across the African Union. The assignment is based at the AU Commission in Addis Ababa, with most work performed remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess bandwidth availability, quality and cost for rural agriculture and education (Work Stream 1).
- Evaluate affordable connectivity options and their feasibility in underserved areas (Work Stream 2).
- Review financing and service delivery models, develop pricing and discount‑rate methodologies (Work Stream 3).
- Develop policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity (Work Stream 4).
- Produce regional and national connectivity profiles and benchmark them against international standards.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics or Law from a reputable university.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work across multiple African regions.
